What we do

ALC – FASD Changemakers

Over the 20 years since the ALC first began, it has grown from an initial “telling a story” idea to seeing where the need is, identifying how to address it, and filling the spot.

The ALC is well known for many things:

  1. Presentations, topic specific developed keynotes, sessions, workshops, trainings, webinars, etc. Speakers and presenters are decided upon once we know what you want to talk about so we can choose the most appropriate person or people for you.
  2. Interactive conversations with a Q and A format.
  3. Designing, developing and providing topic specific webinars (a list of existing available ones can be provided) which can be offered as a series via Zoom.
  4. Mentoring – one-to-one on-going mentoring for teens and adults with FASD; and group mentoring.
  5. Serving as committee members for professionals and organizations to provide input, guidance and direction on FASD topics and issues.
  6. Acting as advisors and consultants for projects and service systems.
  7. Participating as full team members for university FASD research projects.
  8. Designing, developing and leading conference sessions for teens and adults with FASD.
  9. Media work, podcasts, interviews.
  10. Developing and presenting our own topic specific training sessions via Zoom.
